Art With Ms. Tish:
My favorite part about today's activity was the overall getting to know our characters. The most challenging part of this activity was finding the confidence to act out our character. If we had a second chance to do this activity, I would have chosen to act out a different character in my story- truust me; it's hard to act out a teddy bear!! I learned a lot of new things about my character, like their favorite color, their favorite food, how old they are, and other things like that.

3rd Day With Explorer Elementary:
Today, we got to share the first half of our fractured fairy tale with our Explorer buddies. I got the impression that they really liked my story so far. They told me that it was good and we did a good job changing some of the elements. They also told me that they could tell still which fairy tale a had fractured (which was a good thing). They suggested that i add more detail to what a mess the kitchen was because of the hungry bear. They didn't exactly overflow with ideas like i had expected them to, but i still think we will meet the requirements and story elements of the Fractured Fairy Tale Writing Project. I think that I will keep all of the ideas that my Explorer buddies gave me.

Yes, A teddy bear is hard isn't it. I liked how you stood in the teddy bear pose! Maybe we could have stuffed your clothes some so you actually had stuffing! We could have spent a whole day working on it and developing the character and costume. Remember, you only had about 10 minutes! So yes, it was hard, but you did great! Thanks for having the courage!
